Threatened, Worth Saving
A portrait of a Catesby's Lily, (Lilium catesbaei) found in the Green Swamp Preserve in North Carolina, a property protected by the Nature Conservancy. It is similar to the Wood Lily, which I have never seen, because it's all but extirpated where I live. One of many plants threatened by loss of habitat and climate change.
